RFP - Abington This office is looking for a person or persons to contract with to provide data collection services. The requirements are such that you will visit the property only once. You will ring the bell or knock on the door. You will identify yourself to anyone who answers, present a letter of ID, and ask to be allowed to do your work, outside first (including a digital photo), and then, only should the owner be home, an interior inspection. Only an owner can allow you inside. You will leave your letter for the non-owner to give to the owner, to have the owner call for an appointment. If you can only do an exterior (or partial exterior), as long as you do what you can, take a photo (or two), and leave a letter for the owner to call the office, you’ve done your work. You’re done! No repeat visits. You’ll get your work back to us, so that when the owner calls, we have your work. You will use our data collection form (a blank form). We use the VISION system, but you can use your own “language” for data. Building permits are a requirement. Additional properties will be included. We’re looking to budget about $20,000 per year. I’m looking for a “price per parcel”. Building permits must be done each year by August 30. Additional properties can be done as you see fit throughout the year, during your “slow time”. Please contact me should you be interested. Chuck Shea - Posted June 3, 2008
