<description><![CDATA[We had the same problem a few years ago.  My understanding is that they're cleaning up their database and if they don't have documentation on the boats, they're putting them in the file. <br />We had a lot of issues the first year, but most of it has been cleaned up now.  The majority of issues were with boats with loans and paperwork was never processed.  It's a process as they have to contact the Environmental Police and provide documentation.  ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[We began to give our harbormaster our list of unpaid boat excise.  The harbormaster will then not issue a mooring permit if the prior excise remains unpaid.  It's a small step in the right direction.]]></description>
